Privacy notice

The controller of your data is Al-Ahlya Company for the Manufacture of Mineral Sands LLC (Topaz), Amman, Jordan. For any privacy question or request, email info@al-ahlyasilica.com.

• What you send us in a form: your name, company, email, phone number, country, the product details of your request, and your message. For a sample request, also the delivery address.
• Your consent record: the time, the page language, the version of this notice and the consent text you accepted.
• Technical data: your IP address, used briefly to protect the form against abuse and not stored with your request.

We don't ask for sensitive data, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

To answer your request for a quote, a sample or information, to follow it up, and to prevent abuse of our forms. Our legal basis is your consent, under Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 24 of 2023).

• Requests that don't lead to an order: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
• If you become a customer, your details move to our customer records, which commercial law requires us to keep.
• Email-service logs: about 30 days. Server logs, which never contain the form's content: up to 30 days.

We use these service providers. All of them are outside Jordan:

• Cloudflare: hosts the website and checks forms for spam (Turnstile).
• Resend (United States): sends the form to our sales mailbox.
• Google (Google Sheets): stores the list of requests.
• Umami and Cloudflare Web Analytics: count visits anonymously, without cookies and without personal data.
• YouTube: only if you press play on a video.
• Google Maps: only if you press the button to load a map (About and Contact pages).

Because these providers are outside Jordan, including in the United States, your data is stored where data-protection rules may differ from Jordan's and may give less protection. We tell you this before you send a form, and we transfer your data only with your consent.

Access to requests is limited to named staff accounts protected by two-factor authentication. The website runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and the form is checked against spam and abuse.

Our website sets no cookies that need your consent. Our visit statistics are anonymous and cookieless.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it;
• restrict or object to its use;
• delete it;
• transfer it to you in a common format.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without penalty. Withdrawal doesn't affect what we did before it. To use a right, email info@al-ahlyasilica.com.

If a breach puts your data at serious risk, we will tell you within 24 hours and the Personal Data Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship within 72 hours, as the law requires.

When we change this notice, we update the version and date at the top of this page.
